A good rule of thumb is to ensure any visitor can reach any page within 3 clicks; this is an excellent and essential rule to have when you have a huge website with hundreds or even thousands of pages. Even the US dollar is going down and down, people from US are still willing to buy different products. Just during 2 months I made sales on amazon which were worth $600. It all depends on your traffic in my opinion. If you have 10K daily visitors, then nearly every marketing and monetising will work :) . Actually, the US market is still alive.
